Moved to wordpress.org. Do i need to close my account with wordpress.com?

  I created a blog on wordpress.com but then was reading the policies and figured out that my blog needed to be self hosting. I plan to write about lots of health and nutrition companies in general and my life experiences. I am also affiliated with an MLM that i wanted to blog about. I registered an account with wordpress.org and transferred my blog to it. Do i need to close my original wordpress blog and how? I’m just trying to play by the rules here.
