Moving a bloc of posts to a new page

I think I have asked this before, but here goes again: I would like to move my earlier posts all together (from July, August, September 2011) to a new page, called 1967. How do I do this? And, is there a way to keep the widgets for those posts with the posts, so everything is chronologically arranged? Thanks for any help with this.
Of course, the more I use this, the more I realize that I did not set it up in the best way possible.

I spent hours trying to do this, and I am not sure why it would not work.. what I ended up doing was to add two pages: an index for 1966 and one for 1967. This works.
