Moving a blog
-
I want to move my wordpress.com blog to a wordpress.org blog. My new web host ask me to do these 2 steps before I can proceed the transfer :
1) Please obtain the Auth Code (EPP Key) for the domain you wish to transfer from the losing registrar.
2) Please request the losing registrar to unlock the domain.
I don’t know where to find this EPP key. Can you please help me ?The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Thanks. I followed all the steps, but now the host says “we notice that the admin contact address is listed as a privatized address ” (email visible only to moderators and staff)”. We do not believe you have direct access to this address, which is essential for confirming the transfer. We strongly suggest requesting the losing registrar to update this admin contact address to one that you have access to and reply to this ticket. We will then initiate the transfer for you. Please feel free to reply to this ticket when you are ready.
What am I supposed to do ? When I try to change this setting by myself (in the managing domain panel) it says that the site is not hosted there… -
Private Registration appears to have been disabled on your domain, so you should be able to send yourself the EPP/Authorization Code now, if you haven’t already.
