Moving a blog from blogger

  Hi

  I am trying to move my blog from blogger to wordpress.com

  I have not currently purchased a domain name, and want to use wordpress.com to host my blog. I have been able to move all the posts using the import function but I am trying to maintain the page rankings from blogger as well. It seems this functionality is only available to self-hosted wordpress sites. All the tutorials I have seen online are also to move to self-hosted wordpress sites.

  Is this correct understanding? Is there no way I can maintain the page rankings from blogger? Please advise
