Moving a domain

    I have an active website and domain at Go Daddy. I have someone building a new and easier to use website at WordPress. But I don’t want to move anything, or shut down the current website until the new website is approved by my board and up and running well. Can I do that? Can WordPress work without my real domain?

    Hi highhaith

    When you just create your site on WordPress. You will be provided with default URL which you can use to visit your site.

    To add the Custom domain to your site you just need to upgrade to the personal plan which will give you a free credit domain where you can buy a new domain or just map your existing domain. if you have already bought the paid plan and haven’t setup the domain for your site you can do that later also when you site will be approved by your board
