Moving a domain from one WP blog to another

  Hi,

  I had domain mapping from a domain I purchaseed elsewheere to my old WP blog and have now created a new blog. I want to move the domain to the new blog and put the blog there.

  If I try this from the new blog it says “this domain is already mapped to a WP blog”. If I try from the old blog, there seems to be no way of un-mapping it. I thought I’d wait until my purchased domain mapping ran out but even that hasn’t worked. I’ve changed it so the blog is no longer hosted on the domain (it now just redirects) but I still can’t move it.

  I’d realy appreciate any help!

  Upgrades apply to individual blogs, not to accounts. You’ll have to ask staff if you can move the domain, and you may have to purchase the mapping ($10) upgrade for the second blog. Use your Contact Support button to ask about this.
