Moving a domain name from one wordpress.com blog to another

  I’d like change my domain name (registered through godaddy.com) from an old wordpress.com blog to a new wordpress.com blog. I’m trying to start over afresh, but can’t bring myself to delete old posts.

  How can I do this? When I try to add the domain to the new blog it says it’s already registered to a wordpress.com blog (true) but I see no way to remove it from the old one first.

  Same problem, why can’t we do this without contacting support?

  Because Support has to change things on the back end of the blogs and authorize the transfer of payment from one blog account to another. And they may or may not do that, since upgrades are blog-specific.
