moving a dormant domain name over to wordpress

A few years ago I bought a .com domain name through Go Daddy. The domain name is now “dormant.” I would rather pay WordPress for the .com domain. How do I transfer it from Go Daddy to WordPress?

WordPress.com does not accept domain transfers. However, you can map to an existing domain from a .wordpress.com blog.
