Moving a post from one page to another Part 2

    @flosplace

    Suppose I would like a page that deals with “Makeup and Hair”, another page that deals with “Washington DC and Politics”, another one that deals with “Family and Friends”. You get the idea here. Now the question is, can I have all those pages and more AND have separate categories under each of those pages page?? (I think I can BUT I didn’t quite understand the last of the instructions on pages vs posts.)

    I’m beginning to learn what I’m doing here and am actually loving this blog stuff. :)

    Someone has made me invisible in the forum again, maybe because I used 4 links in the other thread.

    So, part one:
    Use “categories” to organize your posts. When a reader clicks “makeup and hair” in your category widget all the articles you have written on that topic will appear. (Same with whatever other categories you use.)

    Here is information about the category widget:

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    part two:
    Categories help to organize your posts, and they also allow readers, with interests similar to yours, to find your blog using WordPress’ global tags. Tags act the same way as categories to get your blog into the global tags feature.

    THANK YOU for this information. Slowly but surely I’m realizing I can write about as many issues as I want and still keep them separated for the reader.

    Thanks again “1Tess!!!!!!
