Moving a premium theme blog to WordPress.org

I am thinking of moving my blog to wordpress.org but am currently running the Elemin theme. I know that I can’t move the theme across and realise I will have to repurchase Elemin from the developer. Does anyone have any experience of how easy it is to recreate a blog’s theme in WordPress.org after the transfer? If I get a Guided Transfer done and then install the theme over at wordpress.org will it apply to all existing posts?

Apologies if this is all very obvious – I am new to this and reluctant to go across to a self hosted blog if I am going to lose the look/format of the blog for existing posts.

    Thank you!

    Hi there,

You can purchase the Elemin theme for WordPress.org here:

    Elemin

You can see the demo of what it will look like here:

In my experience I found it very similar once your posts and everything has been imported. The theme will apply to your existing posts.

Guided Transfer will help you move over all your stuff, install WordPress and help you set up your domain to point to the new site. They will also help you for 2 weeks to help provide you guidance and answer any questions you may have.

Here’s a support guide that shows you exactly what they do:

Feel free to reach out if you have any questions!
