Moving a site to a subdomain

    I am setting up a new site and this is my first tme with wordpress. I want to site to be a subdomain of my domain (stories.my.domain). When I did the initial wordpress signup I connected to my domkain but don’t seem to be able to create the subdomain? Do I have to restart the process from scratch or is there a way to take an existing WP site and redict from a subdomain?

    I use an external DNS providor as this subdomain is just one of many.
