moving a theme from wordpress.com to wordpress.org

  Hello there,

  Hope I’m not repeating an existing topic but I can’t find a relevant answer. I’m hoping to move my blog from wordpress.com to .org to enable plugins but I really don’t want to lose my purchased theme. Is there any way I can keep it?

  Please see the premium themes support doc and note the section that starts with “Note: Premium Themes that are licensed for WordPress.com use only cannot be transferred to self-hosted WordPress.org sites. … ” here http://en.support.wordpress.com/themes/premium-themes/

  Hi Tia – if you purchase a Guided Transfer, we can move many of the Automattic premium themes at no extra charge. Since Flora and Fauna is an Automattic theme, we can move it for you for free if you decide to go the Guided Transfer route.
