Moving a website
-
I currently have my blog hosted on a WordPress platform
http://www.diabetesadvocacy.com/blog
I have been using Expressions web for years to build and maintain the main website http://www.diabetesadvocacy.com
To make things easier, more streamline and more responsive, I would live to be able to move all of the main site’s pages on to a wordpress theme. (the one I am currently using with the blog)
I have created draft pages but if I publish those pages currently they will show as http://www.diabetesadvocacy.com/blog/Whatever_new_page and my blog subscribers will get notifications of these new pages.
I would like these pages to keep their same url and live under the http://www.diabetesadvocacy.com site name. For example, http://www.diabetesadvocacy.com/DTC.htm will keep that url but live on a wordpress page.
The site itself is currently hosted under Hostpapa webhosting service.
Is there anyway to do this? -
Hi –
You’ll want to look at https://wordpress.org/support/ for help with managing your WordPress installation.
That version of WordPress is quite different from the managed environment that we use here at WordPress.com.
The details are outlined on this page: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
