Moving a WP site from an indie server to WP?

    A colleague has a small (info only) third-party developed WordPress site which is on a server that’s shortly going to be decommissioned, so he’s looking to get it moved. His preference is to move it to WordPress’ own servers, but this is beyond his (and my) skillset.

    So, a couple of practical questions… first off, and most importantly, is this possible? I’m guessing this isn’t a standard process. Can anyone outline the procedure?
