Moving audio files from Blogger to WordPress

    Hey guys,

    Currently trying to move out of Blogger (1songday.blogspot.com) and over to wordpress. I’ve done the Import as required but all of our audio files – we run a music blog – don’t seem to have come across with the text, tags etc.

    Is there any way of retrieving this? They were all posted using a flash player on blogger with files that we uploaded ourselves and own the rights to. Or will we have to manually re-upload them for all 400 and something posts on wordpress?

    Blogger was much more about coding, so is it possible that the html was simply lost in translation?

    for reference, here’s what the player we’re using in Blogger looks like:

    Any help would be greatly appreciated. We’re sick of Blogger and with the latest round of google shutdowns, we’re not risking losing 3 years worht of work!

    The problem is that the software is stripping out the code – shockwave flash See > http://en.support.wordpress.com/code/

    As far as the imported audio files go I don’t have an answer for you but I suspect they may have to be uploaded again. I’m hoping that by posting to this thread either another Volunteer or Staff will provide a definitive answer.
