Moving back to wordpress.com domain

  I need to move my .com site that was hosted by someone else to be moved back to fairfashionyear.wordpress.com. I have the authorisation code but don’t know how to move it back? Help! My old host site sent me instructions with the authorisation code but I don’t know where to start.
  They have unlocked my .com Domain Name.

  You don’t need an Authorization Code. You log in to your old site, you go to the dashboard Tools page, you click EXPORT. You log in to your WordPress.com site, you go to the Tools page, you click Import.

  Oh right cheers for the speedy reply. However I can’t seem to log into my old site as it has already expired and I’d stopped paying for the hosting on it.

  Then I’m afraid you can’t import the contents, unless you can google them and find them and copy paste one post at a time.

  You can attach a custom domain by buying the Domain Mapping upgrade on the Store page of your dashboard. https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/
