Moving blog

  Hi,
  If I want to move my blog to another platform, should I cancel my current domain subscription with WP, or can I keep it, just changing its mapping to the blog new URL (outside WP)?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  If you’ve registered your domain through WordPress.com and now want it to point to a blog or website hosted elsewhere then you can do this by updating the nameservers.

  http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/domain-management/#update-nameservers

  Thanks, it seems pretty straightforward.

  I’m thinking in moving my WP blog to Blogspot and have my WP registered domain point to it.

  Should I be aware of any issue regarding this particular move?
