Moving Blog Catalog Button
-
I have a Blog Catalog button placed in the middle of my posts. I need it moved to the sidebar, maybe under Blogroll, or something. I haven’t a clue how to move it. Can you help?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Open that post in the editor. Switch to the HTML tab in the editor and copy out the code and then past the code into a text widget.
If this is the first widget that you have added to the sidebar, the other sample widgets that you see will disappear from the sidebar. Simply add the widgets that you want in the sidebar back into the sidebar.

You need to add a text widget to your sidebar and place the BC code there.

Then delete the post with the BC button. -
Forgive me for coming across as dumb, but I am dumb about this. I’ve switched to the HTML tab in the editor and have the code copied. Now what do I click on, or how to I paste it to a text widget?

@lisajan
What you need to do is edit the post click on the HTML tab while in the editor right click copy the content then got to appearance on the sidebar in your dashboard and chose Widgets then drag a text widget to the sidebar on the right hand side of the screen then click the little arrow in the upper right hand of the widget to open the text field on the widget.Then paste the content then click save on the widgets lower right hand corner then click close then you will be done the button will be on your side bar.

Yay! Thank you so much, t3ck. It worked! And I even got my about section back without having to come ask. You saved the day.
Now, I have got to go nighty night. 3 am here.
