Moving blog followers from wordpress.com to wordpress.org site
-
Hi,
I have a blog on wordpress.com, which is called tlovers.wordpress.com. I now have a new website on wordpress.org called http://www.t-lovers.com
It has a host, and up and running.
I am planning to move my blog to this new site’s blog page. I have read how to move all posts, comments and likes to the new site. But I am not sure how to move followers and subscribers to the new blog too, so that they can continue to read my posts on their Reader or receive e-mails for each post update (if they are subscribers)
Is there a way to do it?
Thank you!The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
You’ll need to install the Jetpack plugin on your self-hosted site:
http://jetpack.me/
http://jetpack.me/support/getting-started-with-jetpack/Once that is set up you can reply back in this thread so I can move the followers for you.
Looking forward to your reply.

Dear Kartodim,
It’s so nice of you to offer to move my followers of me!
I moved all the posts to my new site, and installed jetpack, and connected it to my wordpress.com blog (old one)If you could move followers for me that would be really amazing!!! Thank you so much for this. Do you need any information from me for that?
And once this is done, how do I re-direct the old blog to my new site?
Thank you very much, I really appreciate your help! :)

The subscribers have been moved as requested :)
You can use the Site Redirect upgrade to automatically redirect your WordPress.com address to your new site. http://en.support.wordpress.com/site-redirect
Alternatively you can create a static front page to point your visitors to the new site address: http://en.support.wordpress.com/front-page
Please let us know if you need any further assistance!
