Moving blog posts from one site to another (but they are both under the same umbrella site)

  Aloha!
  Somehow I have created two different blogs under one website. I need to import the blog entries from https://jinshinjyutsuholistichealing.wordpress.com/blog/ to https://sarahwoodsjsj.wordpress.com/blog/. I exported the files and have the ZIP file saved, but when I go to the Admin for the second blog, it automatically switches to the admin for the first blog.

  I am not sure how I did this, but I only want one blog under https://sarahwoodsjsj.wordpress.com/blog/.

  Hi there,

  The site https://sarahwoodsjsj.wordpress.com/ is not one that is listed under your @jsjsarah account, but is a site that is created under a different username.

  Is it possible you made your purchase under a different login? I can confirm that if you sign out as @jsjsarah and instead sign in to your other account instead you will have access to https://sarahwoodsjsj.wordpress.com/ so that you can finish your import.

  If you are not sure what the password is to your other account you can request a new password here: https://wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword

  I signed out as @jsjsarah, and signed in as @jsjnashville (the other blog), then did another export from there. But when I sign back in as @jsjsarah, the account settings say that the web address for that account is http://jinshinjyutsuholistichealing.wordpress.com, which is the same as for the other site…..

  Very strange!

  Hi there,

  If you want to migrate your content from jinshinjyutsuholistichealing.wordpress.com to sarahwoodsjsj.wordpress.com you need to follow these steps:

  1. Log in to the @jsjsarah account and export the contents of jinshinjyutsuholistichealing.wordpress.com

  2. Log in to the @jsjnashville account and import the content to the sarahwoodsjsj.wordpress.com blog.

  That’s all there is to do.
