moving blog to another site

Hello! I was wondering if somebody could help me with the following issue.
I am trying to move my blog to another website. I seem to have managed to import the blog database from Site 1 to Site 2. My blog appears now on Site 2, however, it wouldn’t allow me to post anything new, because there are still links to Site 1 (for all existing posts as well as Login Window). What changes do I need to make in order for the blog to function properly on Site 2?Thanks in advance!

It’s important to know whether or not you are referring to wordpress.com blogs or wordpress.org blogs. The two run on different software. If you are referring to self-hosted blogs or blogs hosted by any company other than wordpress.com then you need to go here for support http://wordpress.org/support
If you are referring to a free blog hosted by wordpress.com then please provide the url’s to the blogs in question.

Well, unfortunately I don’t know whether it is .com or .org.. It was a software incorporated into my Command Panel at Globat.com (my webhosting provider)..
After some trouble trying to import the db, which was finally imported but doesn’t seem to work properly (I guess the respective links have to be changed) I got an answer from them today to contact SupportForums at WordPress.com :) So here I am :)The link to my blog is: http://www.kntranslations.com/blog/

You are in the wrong spot I am afraid. You can read up on the differences if you look at the top of this forum and read the ‘sticky’ thread called “[closed] Please read me first before posting”. You need to be over at the other forum linked in the first response.
