Moving Blog to Website ?????

  I’ve asked this before and did not give accurate info. Sorry, and thanks in advance for any help.

  In order for my website (SexCoaching.com) to gain the benefit of all my blog (http://sexcoaching.wordpress.com) hits, I may want to move it over, though I’m not sure this is best.

  If I move it, will I be dissociated from wordpress? Will I be searchable through wordpress via tags, etc.? Will the ping process be effected at all? Will I have access to the forums? Will my blog page maintain the same layout and widgets? Basically, are there any features that I will loose?

  In essense – what would I gain and what would I loose?

  Will the ping process be effected at all? – ask at wordpress.org.

  Will I have access to the forums? – The forum here won’t any help for self-hosted blogs but there’s a similar forum at wordpress.or.

  Will my blog page maintain the same layout and widgets? – Only if you use the same theme.

  Basically, are there any features that I will loose? – That’s impossible to say. What’s a feature to one person could be an impediment to another and an enhancement to yet aother.
