Moving Blogs in Radcliffe 2 Theme

Can someone please help me? I am currently using the Radcliffe 2 theme and am trying to move all of my blogs from my home page into the appropriate destinations link. (Ie: I want to move me “I Don’t Speak Icelandic” blog into the Iceland link under the destinations tab.) I am seriously riding the struggle bus right now and would appreciate any and all assistance. Thank you! Steph

    Hi Steph,

Placing links to your blogs (posts) into your custom menu under the chosen categories doesn’t require moving the blogs, because menu items are only links. The blogs themselves will stay where they are, and can’t be moved from the blog page.

To add a blog menu item under a category in the menu, add the menu item as described in illustrated in the Add menu items section of the Custom Menus support page, selecting from the Posts type in the Add Items module. How to arrange it under a category in the menu is described and illustrated in the Organize your menu and add sub-menus / drop-down menus section of the same support page.

    Correction:
“add the menu item as described and illustrated…”

Thanks for the response! I think I figured it out using the category menus. Next I’ve got to tackle how to make my static front page look more visually appealing ;)

    You’re welcome! : -)

Just to clarify: I had noticed that you had changed the links in the menu from static pages to category pages, but I thought you might have been asking how to include links to the posts themselves in the menu. It is possible to do that, and that’s what I what the instructions I provided were for.
