Moving castironseatsociety.wordpress.com to a new account
-
Hi Support. I have been asked by a friend to set up a site for a small non-profit club, and created castironseatsociety.wordpress.com temporarily within MY wordpress account to show him a few options.
The intention is to create a wordpress account for him to host the site. However, when I go to delete the temporary site, it says that castironseatsociety.wordpress.com will no longer be available. Is there a way the above domain name can be transferred to a new account? Their club has no budget for professional hosting or for a unique domain name.
I would be grateful for guidance on how to proceed.
Thank you in advance.
Chris Birchall.

For disassociating blogs registered under the same username account, see here Separate Username Accounts – Separate Blogs
https://onecoolsite.wordpress.com/2012/08/14/separate-username-accounts-separate-blogs/You log out, clear your browser cache and cookies, and then without logging in, you register another username account under a different email address. At that point, you can transfer blog(s) to the new account. http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/#transferring-your-blog-to-another-user-or-account
