Moving comments around
-
I would like to be able to move the comments that are scattered all over my blog to one place and call it discussion page.
How do I go about moving the comments?
my blog: http://th3cow.wordpress.com
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Always try a forum search:
https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/i-want-to-move-the-comments-from-about-to-home?replies=3
That was three posts below yours on the front page of the forum.

Well, it just goes to prove that this feature is needed.
Why don’t the WordPress people add the ability to move comments around, ie. link them to posts / pages other than those for which they were entered originally?
It would be a neat feature…

In my opinion, comments should be left where the original commenter put them since moving them to another page or whatever takes them out of the context in which they were made. It does happen from time to time where a comment will be placed on the wrong post, and in those instances, if the commenter contacts me, I’ll move it for them. In some instances I’ve contacted them. Other than that case though, comments on my blog stay where the commenter put them.
In my opinion, it is a solution in search of a problem.

And a handful of people out of over 2.5 million blogs hardly qualifies as proof that a new feature is needed.

OK OK!
I thought you did not physically have to move the comments, but you could just make them point to a different post / page.
Does anyone know?
And if legally comments belong to the commenter, how is it that Wordperess lets me edit them?
Perhaps a WordPress tech can look at this and respond?
Thanks
