Moving Content from Squarespace to WordPress

  I had a blog with Squarespace but do not want to pay $180 to renew it for another year (UGH) so I’m trying to transition to WordPress. Squarespace let me export everything but I’m having major issues getting it imported to Squarespace. I’ve looked at the troubleshooting message boards and the fixes all involve coding and things that are WAY beyond me. Is there a simple fix out there that I’m just not seeing? HELP!
