moving custom domain name from blogger to wordpress

  Hi there,

  Have recently opened a new wordpress account with the view to moving my existing blog (currently hosted on blogger) to wordpress. I have a custom domain name (thelifestylediaries.com) and want to know how to get that domain name across. It’s hosted with godaddy. I have followed instruction from you site about changing the nameservers, however, with blogger I had to change the CName alias when I registered my domain name. What do I need to do to fully change my blog and domain name over to my wordpress?

  It looks like you purchased and then removed the domain mapping upgrade from your account. You will need that upgrade to have your domain name (thelifestylediaries.com) point to your WordPress.com site (http://thelifestylediarieslondon.wordpress.com/)

  Please try the mapping process again following these instructions

  http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/

  Once we do that part, it will be easier to investigate whether the CNAME change you made for blogger needs to be updated.
