  I have the information to transfer my domain name to WordPress from Homestead but I don’t know what else to do to make this happen

  We don’t currently accept incoming domain transfers. However, you can map your Homestead-registered domain to your WordPress.com site by following this guide:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/map-existing-domain/
