Moving domain

Hi there,
I have bought a domain with another blog service but never launched the blog there as it was too complicated. I am trying now to move my domain name to wordpress, have paid for the domain mapping with wordpress but have no idea how my domain will be mapped. I did not get any instructions and the domain still does not point to my blog at wordpress.
Can anyone help pls?
