Moving domain from Squarespace to Personal plan

Hi! I had a wordpress site (atlelycke.com) and am now migrating to wordpress. I would like to still use the same domain, but when I try and import it to WordPress, my only option is the Premium plan. That’s a bit too expensive for my purposes, so I’d be happy with a Personal plan. However, when I try to do buy that, all the details on my payments turn out to be wrong (they’re not, I double checked), but I’m thinking this might be because my wordpress site atlelycke.wordpress.com can’t be upgraded to atlelycke.com, as WordPress don’t have that domain. How can I add the domain without buying Premium?

WordPress.com does not accept domain transfers but mapping an existing domain is possible. http://support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/map-existing-domain/ The domain or mapping of any existing domain URL is included in the pricing for a personal upgrade, a premium and a business upgrade. The WordPress.COM upgrade for mapping a domain must be renewed annually.

You can use the Personal Plan, yes, but you need to add the plan first. If you add the domain first, Premium is selected automatically.

Go to My Site ->Plans and buy the Personal Plan, and then you can go back and claim your free domain at My Site ->Domains ->Add.
