Hello,
There are a few WordPress plans that you can use and they come with the free domain included for one year. After that, depending on your domain extension price for renewal is added to the price of the plan.

One quick question, my domain registration is already paid for year 2019. The plan i wanna choose is Premium which give free registration for one year. So will this free offer applies to 2020, I assume so.Thanks again

Hello,
The domain you choose during the purchase of the plan will be free for the first year. After that, the domain renewal price will be applied on top of the plan renewal.
If you already have a domain purchased with another register, you can map it to WordPress.com.
https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/If you already picked up a free domain with the registration of the WordPress plan, you can cancel the domain renewal on the Manage purchases screen by clicking on the domain you do not want to renew and click ‘Cancel domain’ (Screenshot).
Lastly, you can move your existing domain from another register to WordPress.com for free and have the plan and the domain on the same place which is easier for managing later since you will only have to pay to WordPress.com and do not have to remember to pay the domain provider as well.
