Moving domain name

Hi there,
I tried to move my domain http://www.theflyingboatman.co.uk (Purchased through wordpress.com) to another hosting provider but I could not follow the instructions on:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/move-domain/transfer-domain-registration/
as there was no “Transfer Domain” option available. I then canceled/removed my domain name by accident as I thought then the option might appear but now its not showing anywhere. Not sure what to do now?
I’ve added it to my external hosting provider but I can’t complete the transfer as I think I need a code or it to be released by wordpress.com first?
Any help would be much appreciated!

I see this has been tagged for staff but whilst you’re waiting are you sure you purchased that domain here at WordPress.com rather than just mapping it with an upgraded plan? The Registrar appears to be GoDaddy (and the domain will expire 18th March).

I can confirm this domain was mapped here but registered elsewhere.
If you’d like the domain mapped here again, can you log in as user trophyoars and request that we restore the upgrade for you?

I’ve moved my site now and got the domain name released from GoDaddy.
The issue I have now is that the DNS mapping is still pointing the following and I can’t remove it.Name Servers:
ns1.wordpress.com
ns2.wordpress.com
ns3.wordpress.comCan someone please remove these?

Hi there,
Name servers can only be changed at the registrar who controls your domain registration. The domain was only mapped to us, and is not registered with us, so we cannot help with this.
