Moving domain name at a later date

  Hello,

  I would like to build a test website, with the intention of eventually moving the domain name from our existing website to the new website. Is this possible?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Yes! That is totally possible. You can build a free site on bricklane1978.wordpress.com and then connect the domain later on. It’s a common way to do things.

  The test site can even stay hidden from the internet to keep it under wraps: https://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings/

  Once you’re ready to connect the domain you will add the desired plan to the account from https://wordpress.com/pricing/

  Then, choose if you want to transfer or map the domain to your account (there’s not a wrong option).
