Moving domain to Blogger

  I bought my domain through WordPress and need to switch to Blogger. I’ve tried updating the DNS records, but that didn’t work. How can I switch http://www.frontlineladies.com from WordPress to my Blogger site? Blogger says it doesn’t recognize that I own that domain.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi Rachel – I’ll have to help you point your domain to Blogger, because they do it in a kind of complicated way. Can you please follow the first four steps here:

  When you’ve done that, please reply and provide me with the two CNAME records you are provided. One should be generic, like this:
  www ghs.google.com

  And the other will be specific to your blog and look something like this:
  kj4e3edrqb2c gv-htqgw2udfoi7cp.dv.googlehosted.com

  Once you provide me with those, I’ll set up some records in your DNS. :)

  Hello? What should be done with this CNAME record? I’ve tried to copy and paste it to the DNS records but it says WordPress doesn’t recognize it.

  Hi Rachel – Ok, I’ve made the necessary DNS changes on our end. They can take anywhere from 5 minutes to 24 hours to resolve. Once they’re pointed to an error page on Blogger, please complete Step 11 here on Blogger’s end:
