Moving Domain-Upgraded Blog?

I tried to move my blog, which I purchased a domain name for, to a new email address with associated blog. I received a popup which said I could not do it and that support would get back to me as it needed to be done manually. I realize support must be incredibly busy. I have planned to purchase a premium theme tomorrow and don’t want to do it until the blog has been moved. Any ideas on how long this could take?

I hope you do not mean you intend to puchase a premium theme from WordPress.com. and this is why:

I am trying to move two blogs: zen and the art of borderline maintenance AND How I Developed Borderline Personality Disorder to a different account that is associated with a different email address. That one is (email visible only to moderators and staff)
I can move the second one I know without a problem but because I have the .com domain upgrade on the first one it won’t let me “without support’s help.”

Timethief, no I don’t want to move to .org, I want to stay with WordPress.com, I just want my email address to match my blog name, that’s all.
