Moving Domain/Changing to ORG within the first 30days

I specifically purchased my domain through WordPress instead of another provider because I wanted to use a specific WordPress theme. After creating my account yesterday I have come to find I cannot use that theme through wordpress though it was specifically created for WordPress – since it is an external file. I would like to maintain my domain name and privacy option which I bought but not have my website hosted through WP because of the compatibility issues. I am able to transfer the domain but have to wait 60 days??? How can I even get a refund then or be able to use my site? This has been a complete inconvenience since the theme says its made for WordPress and then your site would not accept it because of obvious security issues. I would like the theme I picked because it was specifically created for WordPress, or a refund and be able to transfer my domain. I don’t understand how this can be resolved. If it cannot I fully expect to have my domain remain with me and a refund for any extra services I purchased at the time of sign up.

If you want to use the theme that you found outside WordPress.COM – you need to find your own host, install WordPress.ORG software and such – you can change the name servers to point to your new host and be good to go today

You can change the name servers anytime – that will get you the equivalent of transferring the use of your custom domain name – the 60 day thing is an internet fraud prevention thing – that is to prevent transferring the registration to a new registrar for the 60 days
