Moving Domain…Obtaining a Refund?

  I am trying to create a website and thought I could use WordPress until my needs grew. However, after registering my domain and creating a free WordPress account I quickly realized that this site is not for me. WordPress.com is really a blog and not suitable for creating a website. I created it early this morning and am wondering if I can get a full refund of the money I paid for the domain and private registration. I’m moving to Stablehost.com and they say I need to pay ANOTHER $17 for using the domain over there. Help??

  Oh yeah, and I’m wondering about how to transfer over to Stablehost. Can I just change the name servers or what? I really don’t know how this stuff works.
