moving e-mail followers to self hosted blog
-
Hello
I moved my wordpress.com blog to a self hosted blog –> http://www.thevogueword.com
Everything moved, just my email followers are missing…
I searched the whole internet to find a way to transfer them, but I just found some incomplete forums without any answer to the problem. What shall I do?

I have migrated your subscribers and followers to your new site.
Let me know if there is anything else I can help you with.

Hi,
Recently moved my blog to a self-hosted site and wondering if the email subscribers (under past invitations) automatically get migrated or is that something that is done through site redirect service? Paying for site redirect service currently.
I want to make sure that my post on the new hosted site is going to those email followers from the .com site. I don’t know how to check to make sure they also are on our mailing list.
Please advise.

It is something staff needs to help with.
Do you have your new site all set up and connected to Jetpack?
-
Yes it’s all set and connected to jetpack. I’d appreciate any help in having those followers on the new site.
Thanks.

I’m seeing two jetpack connected sites that are very similar. I just want to make sure that I’m moving them to the right one.
Do you want your followers moved to specialneedsinmycity.org or specialneedsinmycity.com?

Where would I see the list of those followers’ emails on the dashboard?
On the wp.com site it was under invite new users as Past invitations. I don’t see that same path on the dashboard on the self-hosted site.
Also, I am not having any luck with posts automatically going to any of the social media sites as before. I tried to post the shortlink to Facebook directly and it says ‘no webpage found’. This is the link to the recent post:

This link works in any browser but not on Facebook. Thanks so much. Grateful for the migration.

I’m sorry to hear that you are having trouble. However, WordPress.com staff doesn’t have access to your self-hosted site’s files or dashboard.
WordPress.org has complete documentation and support sites for self-hosted/installed versions of WordPress.org at http://codex.wordpress.org/ and http://wordpress.org/support/
Lots of good people there with plenty of advice.
