Moving email subscribers to site

  The appearance and layout of my site is really important to me. It frustrates me that email subscribers can read the entire post in their email without actually going to the site, where I’ve chosen colors and fonts and laid out photos in the way I want. Also, the featured photo doesn’t appear at all in the email.
  Is there a way to send only the link to email subscribers so they must navigate to the site to read the post?

  Hi!

  There are two ways to limit this:

  1. You can change the option for “For each article in feed, show” here to “Summary”:

  https://halcyonpond.wordpress.com/wp-admin/options-reading.php

  That will also affect how your site appears in feed readers like Feedly.

  2. You could use the More tag mentioned here:

  http://en.support.wordpress.com/splitting-content/more-tag/

  That would allow you to cut off the content exactly where you would like.

  Can you give one of those options a try?
