Moving existing blog into wordpress

  Hello,
  I am working on a site for an author who has an existing blog on blogspot.com. What is the best way to integrate this content into WordPress, outside of a link. Can I copy the contents? Is this allowed?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  If you have a WP.com blog that’s just a copy of an existing website elsewhere, staff request that you set it to Private. If you don’t, they might suspend it. If you want to abandon the Blogspot blog, then just export it and then import the file through the dashboard of the new blog here.

  This is great news, but I am guessing I will need access to her current blog in order to export it?

  Yes, or she can do it. I’m not sure exactly how it works on blogspot, but there’s usually a single button to push to export a complete copy of the contents and comments.
