Moving existing posts to pages
-
I imported my mess of a blog and want to assign some of the posts to a blog page, some of them to a webcomics page, etc. I can’t seem to find the tools to do this.

Hi craftmike,
I’m not clear on exactly what you want to do, but let me take a stab at it.
If you want to convert a page to a post or vice versa, we do not have any tools that will do this automatically. Instead you’ll need to copy the content over to a new post/page. I’d recommend that you do this in the “Text” editor views so that links and images get copied over correctly.
If what you want to do is have a specific page for certain types of content, that’s easy. Just assign categories to the different kinds of content (for example, have a category called “webcomics” and assign that category to all pages with web comics). You then will have an automatically generated URL for that category that you can use anywhere you’d like, including in your Custom Menu feature.
For example, one of your existing categories is Cartoon. You therefore have this page:
http://craftmike.com/category/cartoon/If you want to create a menu that features this category as one of the pages linked in the menu, you can do that by creating a custom menu: http://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/
Hopefully this answered your questions. If not, please let me know! :)
