Moving Followers
-
A couple weeks ago I asked support about moving the followers on my current blog (freshtwistblog.com) to my new self-hosted blog (freshtwistliving.com). I was instructed to install JetPack, which I’ve done, connect it to wordpress.com, which I’ve done, and then finally make sure it is activated (yes) and then to submit a support request to move the followers.
“Once you connect just open a support request at WordPress.com to transfer your subscribers from .com blog to self hosted .org blog (.org blog must have Jetpack plugin running) and one of the staff will do that.”
This is my support request to move my followers from freshtwistblog.com to freshtwistliving.com.
Thank you for your help.

Hi there,
Your WordPress.com subscribers and email followers have been transferred as requested.
Please note that any WordPress.com followers who opted to receive email updates will need to re-subscribe again on your new site through the Jetpack signup box, otherwise they’ll only see new posts in their Reader. Non-WordPress.com email subscribers will continue to get email updates.
You might thing about setting up a Site Redirect for your WordPress.com site at freshtwistblog.wordpress.com to send your site visitors to your new domain. Otherwise, people will still be able to subscribe on your old site.
