Moving Followers

  I am working on a new wordpress site and want to move my followers. I have imported the content. Is it possible to move them AND their comments, likes, etc? The new site is brandewijnblog.wordpress.com

  Staff can move the followers of https://brandewijnblog.wordpress.com/ to http://galadanblog.wordpress.com/ if that is what you are asking. I will type modlook into the sidebar tags on this thread for a Staff follow-up.   Actually, I was wanting the other way around with having http://galadanblog.wordpress.com/ followers moved to https://brandewijnblog.wordpress.com/ . Will the site stats get moved/updated, or just the followers? Also, will it matter if some of them have started following already?

  I can transfer followers and stats from galadanblog.wordpress.com to brandewijnblog.wordpress.com, however it’s not possible to transfer likes.

  Please login as galadanblog and confirm the details above are correct. Once you’ve done so, I can take care of this for you.

  Hi galadanblog,

  Thanks for confirming. I’ve moved your followers and stats over to brandewijnblog.wordpress.com.

  Your email subscribers will continue to receive email notifications of new posts as before, however, WordPress.com followers will only see new posts in the Reader. They will not receive email updates unless they subscribe to receive those on your new site.
