Moving followers from my WordPress blog to my self-hosted blog
-
I have moved from WordPress.com to a self-hosted site. I have Jetpack installed, and I would love for someone from WordPress to move my followers and stats to my new blog.
The old one (that I’d like things moved from) is finchnwren.wordpress.com, and the new one (for things to be moved to) is finchnwren.com.
Also, I’d like to purchase the domain forwarding service. Can someone help with these, please? Thanks!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I have migrated your subscribers and followers to your new site.
Let me know if there is anything else I can help you with.

Hope it’s okay to post on this thread instead of opening a new one, but I am having the same issue. I also have JetPack installed and in fact since I have moved over to self-hosted and set up a redirect, I have gotten notifications that a couple new subscribers were added under the old dashboard, but no subscribers show up on the new one. If I could have my subscribers moved over (and stats if that’s possible), that would be great. Also is there a way to make sure any new subscribers are being added to the new blog and not the old one? The old blog is amandapoverseas.wordpress.com and the new one is embracingadventure.com . Thanks :)

@amandapoverseas
Provided you have installed and activated the JetPack plugin http://jetpack.me on your WordPress.org install, and you post the relevant URL(s) into a forum thread, Staff will do the transfer of both subscribers and stats for you. http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/moving-your-subscribers/#wordpress-com-to-self-hosted-site Thanks for providing the URLs. I have tagged this thread for their attention. -

Hi, rootjosh. I hope you’ll see this since the thread is still open. In the last few days, more new subscribers have been added under the wordpress.com site even though anyone clicking on that site is automatically redirected to the new one. Do you know what could cuase them to be added under the wrong blog, and is there a way to fix that? Thanks :)

That happens from time to time.
The easiest thing to do is just wait a week or so and then I can run the migration again.

Hi rootjosh,
I’m a little later than originally planned, but would you mind running the migration again on amandapoverseas.wordpress.com to embracingadventure.com?
Thank you.
