Moving Followers to Self Hosted site

  Hey! I just moved my blog over to a self hosted.

  Any chance of moving my “followers” over to the new site?

  Thank!

  Provided you have installed and activated the JetPack plugin http://jetpack.me on your WordPress.org install, and you post the relevant URL(s) into a forum thread, Staff will do the transfer of both subscribers and stats for you. http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/moving-your-subscribers/#wordpress-com-to-self-hosted-site Do that now please as I have tagged this thread for their attention.

  The Jetpack plugin is installed and activated, right? if it isn’t there will be no means of transfer available to Staff when they get to this thread.

  I installed Jetpack on chriscreedblog.com.

  It is not installed on the WordPress hosted site. Does it have to be installed on both?
