Moving followers/stats/blogs I follow from .com to .org

  Hello,

  I just registered with Bluehost and need help transferring my previous wordpress.com blog followers, comments, subscribers to the wordpress.org site. I have Jetpack activated, but have not yet activated my blog.

  How do I get my followers, subscribers, etc?

  Still waiting for help……I just realized that i’m logged in under a different username than the one I use for pinkcaboodle.com. Does this make any difference?

  Yes. You should make the request under the username associated with the blog.

  You will need to make sure that you are logged in under the account associated with the site: pinkcaboodle.wordpress.com

  Is luzthebee the username/account associated with the site?

  If you are having difficulty with your username you might try the email address associated with the account.

  yes it is. I’m trying to switch everything over to pinkcaboodle.com instead of pinkcaboodle.wordpress.com.

  The usersame associated with pinkcaboodle.com is different. Am I in the right forum to transfer everything over to what I guess is a wordpress.org site?

  This is the correct location. Staff can do the transfer for you (if you prefer). In order to move followers etc. you will need to install JetPack on the pinkcaboodle.com site. WordPress has a guide that outlines the process here:

  You can use luzthebee as the correct login for this site.

  ok great. I have jetPack installed on the pinkcaboodle site, and it’s under the luzthebee username. But the username for the pinkcaboodle site itself is different than luzthebee.

  pcosta88 you’ve been a big help. I’m new to all this, trying to make sure I have everything done right and in working order.

  No problem.

  Staff works in order of requests received. Hard to say. ¯_(ツ)_/¯ Though, Staff does a pretty good job at responding.

  I was able to transfer over my followers, email subcribers (yay!)

  Am I also able to transfer my wordpress.com site stats?
