  Yes, you can change font color with CSS. Did you want to change the color of categories links or all links?

  I’d like to change the headings to a dark grey/black to match my title, and the links below headings to a light grey if poss..

  Sure.

  For the headings:

  h1 {
  color: #454545;
  }

  For the categories and tags below the post:

  .post-meta-data a:link, .post-meta-data a:visited {
  color: #959EA1;
  }
