  I’ve purchased a domain from Bluehost for a different project and I am considering buying a second domain from there to replace the current domain from the free version on WordPress.com
  What is the best way to do this that will be the least headache causing in the long run?

  What I desire to accomplish is to be able to manage both of my domains from the same provider while still having the blog site that I’ve already set up on WordPress.

  Is this possible to do and how would I do this?

  It is possible to move a domain from Bluehost to WordPress.com.

  Please note, that in order to set a primary customo domain on WordPress, the sites themselves would need to be on a paid plan. https://wordpress.com/pricing/
