Moving from 3 column to 2 column theme

  Hi,

  I want to move from a 3 column theme to a 2 column one. I’ve tried the preview option and find that the widgets from one column dont appear. I was expecting to see them in a line below the first column :D

  My questions are
  1. Will this column of widgets disappear if i make the change?
  2. Will I have to key them in again?

  the widgets from sidebar1 will remain, and widgets from sidebar2 will go down. you have to reselect those. the information will not be deleted, though, should you have things in a text widget or rss widget.
