Moving from Blogger to WordPress – please help!

    Hey everyone

    So I’ve decided to finally make the transfer from blogger to wordpress, I already own and pay for my website through 1&1 Domain. I’ve been reading up on the whole transferring process and am probably more overwhelmed than I should be but I am and don’t fully understand what it is that I’m reading. If someone could please help me with the whole process I would be super appreciative as I’m worried about losing all my content/my website becoming corrupted from making a mistake.

    Hey @emiilyjessica,

    Migrating your site from Blogger to WordPress is easy:)
    First, you need to login into your Blogger dashboard and go to Settings » Other page. Under the ‘Import & back up’ section,
    click on the ‘Back up Content’ button, this will download XML file to your system.

    After Downloading the XML file, log in to your WordPress site.
    To start importing your Blogger site into WordPress, go to Tools » Import. On the Import page, go ahead and click on the ‘Install Now’ link below Blogger.
    Once installation finish, you need to click on the ‘Run Importer’ and upload the XML file you downloaded from blogger.
